Bonded Solid Tires: The Optimal Solution To Environmental Challenges
Before 2007, Hong Kong International Terminals Limited (HIT) used filled solid tires. These tires are manufactured using a polyurethane foaming process, whose blowing agent is low-toxic. Disposal after use is also extremely difficult: the waste rubber pollutes the environment and fails to meet environmental standards. It must be recycled by a qualified professional organization, and the company must assign dedicated personnel to monitor the disposal process, incurring additional waste disposal costs. This is not only environmentally friendly but also increases the company's operating costs.
Since 2007, the terminal has gradually switched to bonded solid tires produced by our company. This not only fundamentally solves the problem of waste rubber pollution caused by filled solid tires after their use, but also eliminates related safety hazards. With its significant environmental advantages and reliable performance, bonded solid tires have gained continued customer recognition. Currently, the company purchases more than a dozen sets of bonded solid tires from our company annually, making them a preferred solution for environmental upgrades.
